Select Breeding
Owner Mickey Murphy has owned, raised, and trained pointing breeds all of his life. He received his first Wirehaired
Pointing Griffon in 1991 from his uncle; “Whiskers” so impressed Murphy that he has owned Wirehaired Pointing Griffons ever since.
Our dogs are healthy hunters and wonderful companions. Palos du Triangle de la Cote was tested by
NAVHDA in May, 2000 and received a total of 112 points and a prize classification I.
Wirehaired Pointing Griffons are versatile sporting dogs bred to cover all terrains. They excel as a
pointer and are excellent retrievers in the water, as well. Easily trainable, they make a super pointing dog and retriever in the field, and delightful family pets.
At Green Mountain Griffons we are interested in producing only fine gun dogs and
